How to lose belly and chest fat for a male without gaining muscles?

I want to lose fat that makes me look thinner. I don’t want to do any resistant training to achieve this nor do i want to gain mass muscles.
Suggestions?

I always find the best way for me to lose weight is just to start walking a lot more. Just add 30 mins to an hour of walking a few times a week and you will see it fall off pretty fast. I see my unwanted weight gain go fast and since you are male yours will go much faster. It is a great way to loose the weight but not add muscle. If you find you want to start to add muscle tone later on you can always add something more later on:-) Best of luck to you!

    losing weight is 90% diet and 10% exercise.

    Although really having muscles isn’t a bad thing, if you get down to 8% body fat but have no muscles you’ll still look tubby because you’ll completely lack definition, so your belly will look like it sags even though you have very little fat.

    well fat will be lost all over, not just one area. eat in better portions and with less fats and artificial sugars. … get plenty of excercise that works your heart and gets your blood pumping. (not like weight lifting but running etc.)

    Hi Jim,

    You can go to the gym and do cardiovascular activities for an hour at least thrice a week. At the same time, you should also consider the proper how’s of eating:
    1. Eat only when hungry-and stop before you’re full.
    2. Eat slowly and chew food thoroughly.
    3. Eat only when calm and relaxed.
    4. Allow plenty of time between meals.
    5. Drink plenty of water.

    It is not enough that you take a diet. You should take it as a lifestyle: Eat less and exercise more. :)

    Why don’t you want muscle at all? You don’t want just a little muscle.

    Anyway my biggest problem was getting rid of the chest fat. Tried running multiples miles a day and it i still had that problem. Im currently using a website called http://truthaboutbellyabs.com
