How can I get ripped fast without steroids or any other garbage like that?

Im a 16 year old male who is about 165 lbs. I workout and take protein powder, but that doesnt seem to be working too much. Ive noticed im getting stronger, but im not visualy seeing the results. I wanted to know if there was anyone out there that could give me some tips on how to get ripped without pumping my body with drugs, because i will not do that.

Well it seems like your going two different paths there. Do you want to look bigger and stronger or do you want to looked ripped? Because getting bigger and stronger basically means upping your caloric intake to like 3000 a day if you want real results. Your going to be eating everything all the time basically. If your looking to get ripped then your going to need to diet and do more cardio to lose body fat and get your muscles more defined. You can’t really gain muscle fast and get more defined at the same time. It’s either one or the other.

    The short version is: You can’t. The way to get the physique you’re looking for, assuming you already have a healthy BMI, is to start with a mass building cycle where you are taking in plenty of protein and lifting weights. Your cardio will be very limited during this cycle. After you complete the mass building cycle, you will go into a cutting cycle, where you will decrease the time spent on the weights, greatly increase the amount of cardio you are getting, and restrict your diet. You will lose some muscle mass during this cycle, but not all that you have built. Your bodyfat will decrease, and you will begin to see the "ripped" appearance that you are looking for, although it will probably take several cycles to get to where you want to be. Do some research on bodybuilding.com and develop a plan that fits you and that gives you results.

    stick with the protein shakes..i recommend muscle milk..im 16….but do pushups everyday..and when u work out..always lift until u cant anymore….just do machine bench presses..and dumbbell curls…..and eat 3 decent meals a day..with lots of protein…..but bascially just get a routine going when u workout..and id recoomend doing upper body..chest/triceps..shoudlers..mondays and fridays..and lower body(calves/leg press) on wednesdays..and remember to get some cardio in every couple days too… and remember to increase ur weight every couple weeks or however long it takes u..because without the increase of weight ur muscles will never get any bigger.

    incorperate more cardio in your workout. eat 6 or 7 small meals a day rather than 3 larger ones.(high protien, low carbs) protein bars, tuna fish, egg whites etc. also watch what you drink. instead of drinking soda or other high carb drinks, drink water instead. finally be patient, results do not happen overnight but they will. good luck to you

    Your body is still developing. You’re only 16. You likely won’t see the results you’re looking for until after your body has stopped developing. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep working out, though. Eat a healthy, balanced diet, don’t exclude any food groups entirely, and be sure to mix up your routine. That’s the best advice I can give.

    Why mix up your routine? Our bodies become accustomed to the same activities over time, and our muscles, while they might become stronger, don’t really change all that much, because they’re doing the same thing over and over and over again. Maybe try lifting weights and doing crunches and the like one day, and then maybe another day, go swimming or play hockey or another kind of sport that is different, but still builds muscles. And then, another day, you may choose to do something else, like hard, manual labor.

    When I lived on the farm I grew up on, I got to be really buff because I was doing hard, physical labor, every single day, or virtually every single day, many hours a day. Maybe you could get a job doing something very strenuous, though at 16 I would imagine your occupational prospects are limited, at best, particularly for the more strenuous jobs that are out there.

    Find a gym. Walk inside, and make it your new home. This is where you live now. Do every machine even if you look like a whimp doing a whimpy machine. Set the weights so that you can atleast do 15-20 manuevers until you can no longer go on. Do not stop lifting weights until you feel the burn of success. Continue to another machine until at least an hour has passed or you can only do 1-3 manuevers per machine, whichever comes first. Get into your car or onto your sportsbikes. Be careful not to crash because you are so weak that it is hard for you to even turn the steering wheel. Take a day break from weight lifting if you cannot move the next day, rather jog, walk, run, or bicycle ride. Repeat this and I garuantee that you will see results after the third time of weight lifting. Also, remember, fat, turns into muscle. If you want to be buff, eat like you are on a mission, and workout like it is your calling. You will be an unstoppable force whom I would not want to reckon with. This is what I do everyday after school. I can lift 415 lbs 10 times without stopping.

    Good luck on your new mission. I noticed that you are 16 years old. This technique might not work as well for you, because your body is still growing. Take it easy, but push yourself. Make it routine, everyday, just like eating. When you turn 18 my friend, then you may do my process. You can push yourself all you want at 16, but you will not see spectacular results. I am 20 years old. It took me 2 years to build up from where I am now, but 8 years to start.
