Thank you Dr. Pompa appreciate your response. Now I know why I gained weight during baseball season in college running long distance for pitching and I was not cut like in basketball in high school all sprints. Can you hypothesis you lose more weight when your burst before bed due to sythnesis and storage of fat at night?

Dr.Pompa- You talk about burst training in different forms.running,eliptical. However what if you like to lift? Is it same concept per muscle group. So Superset Chest for 30-60 secs rest.ect 3-4 set. then with other muscle groups? Does this concept apply to that also.

dr pompa I have been doing burst training for 1 month.I was amazed by the results.I lost atleast 2 inches from my waist that was pure fat loss.I have developed lean muscles.I look and feel great.I have been exercising for 5-6 yrs ,had reached a plateu but burst training has broken that plateu.I have not lost very much on scale but lot on dress size.I m soooooo thankfull to u.Can this fatloss will go on like this?The best thing is I get one day off in between.Dr pompa U ROCK.Keep up the good work

Research simplifies this to 3 to 4 burst around 60 seconds is best….but Im sure this works if your heart rate hits the 90% of max in 20 seconds. This may difficult for most who want to do lighter weights to burst or run that fast!

But I would like to get few more answers. My primary wish is to lose weight. Expecialy fat from my abdomen, I don’t have a big, but it’s still there,nothing else. I don’t need a big muscles on my body.
Is it enough to do every second day the burst training and what I mustn’t eat? And may I do some other practice for abdomen and what?

Myself, I like going between intervals of walking/running/jogging with an occasional sprint, But this is pretty good.
I cant do much HIIT as I have asthma, which sucks for cutting as I enjoy sprints.
