The first thing you need to do before you start any diet or exercise program is to record your measurements, take your bodyfat percentage, and take before pictures of yourself. This is so important because you need to get an accurate view of your current condition. And you need to record your measurements and take progress pics every 2 weeks so that you can accurately track your results so that you can tell if you are moving in the right direction towards building a leaner more muscular physique.

Getting measurable results like this will allow you to make changes to your diet and workout program if needed. Rather then wasting weeks, months, or even years of fumbling around and just hoping that your program is working for you.

The second thing you need to do is clean up your diet. Most people who struggle with fat loss are eating way too many carbs. So you need to focus on eating more lean protein and green veggies in your diet. But you can still enjoy tasty high carb meals if you eat them at the right times. Just make sure to save your carbs for after your workout. Carbs eaten after exercise will go towards building muscle, rather then getting stored as excess bodyfat.

The third fat loss tip is to simply increase your cardio. More often then not, if you’ve got a roll of belly fat hanging over your waistline, you are not doing enough cardio. So to help increase your cardio I suggest doing some cardio before and after your weight training workouts. This helps to serve as both a warm up / cool down as well as a great bodyfat burner.

Weight Loss Tips…Help Me get rid of the fat!?

Alright so I’m 5’6 155 pounds I do cheer,soccer, ice skating, and i run my thighs are kind of jiggle but not really and my stomach has some fat like i have love handles and I have some on my stmach like i said so how can i get rid of the weight within 5-6 months plus i would like to loose 15 pounds because i was doing like really high level gymnastics and then they kicked me out unless I loose and least 10 pounds but my ideal weight is 140- 143 pounds and NO I CANNOT JOIN A GYM, OR GO ON WEIGHT LOSS PILLS!!!!!!!!!!
any ideas and tips i really need to do this and i’ve been doing gymnastics since i was 3 and when i broke my leg i gained a bunch of weight tell me how to loose weight

oh i dont know if i put it in here i also do ballet and hip hop (dance)

Start with a good diet … Then join a sport team or every morning before anything go for a walk or run about an hour then in your free time do another thing like push ups or something and in few weeks you will lost many pounds

Weight loss tips for fat dachshund?

We’re about to move back to the U.S. from Germany, and had the pre-flight checkup today for our dogs. The vet says our dachshund is too fat.

Additionally, he needs to be able to fit in the same crate he flew TO Germany in, which technically is supposed to hold up to 16 pounds. He’s 18.5 pounds. Can he lose enough weight by November 18th to be able to fly in his crate? They’re pretty picky at the airport about these things. I also would just like him to be healthier, because he’s an important member of our family. Advice?
If he’s required to get a bigger crate, he’ll also have to fly with unaccompanied baggage…I’m hoping he can ride on board with us again.

I do have a great tip I got from my vet.

Canned green beans. Low calories, very filling and also aids in anal gland problems. Due to the fiber, they corrent that problem and are also very filling.

Rinse the canned green beans in water to reduce the salt/sodium or feed sodium free.
If she regularly eats 1/2 cup twice a day, take out about a quarter of that (1/4 of the half cup) add about a 1/4 cup of green beans. Reduce the meals by a little every day..two or three pieces of kibble. Walk this dog to burn more calories. You don’t mention what she eats right now. NO wet food!! this is really high in fat and calories.

-go from whole milk to 1 percent, or even fat free
-Studies in Harvard show that that soft drinks may be responsible for the doubling of obesity in children in the United States over the last 15 years. out of seven days of the week, dont drink any soda for atleast 4 days. drink a healthy juice, that is all natuaral, or water
-WATER WATER WATER WATER!!! it speeds up ur matabolism and it gives you beautiful skin!
-obviously exercise. but if you want to aerobics, because that speeds up ur matabolism. the faster your matabolism is, the more calories you burn, the faster you lose weight.
-if you are going to do strength training, your going to gain weight because your building muscle. muscle weighs more than fat. so dont be afraid if the scale says your getting bigger, cause muscle appears smaller than fat so you will in all reality be smaller.
-this is an obvious one, but eat less fatty foods. eat more veggies and keep your meat and carbs in proportion.
-cut out the junk food. only have it when you are reallllyyy craving it.
-soups with low fat content are great. if they have a lot of veggies, thats a great meal
-foods that make your matabolism faster: water, green tea, soup, grapefruit, asparagas, low fat yogurt, oatmeal, hot peppers.
-foods that lower your matabolism, and therefor, on a diet you shouldnt eat them: alcohol[full of sugar and fat, and it slows ur matabolic rate], sugar, startchy foods as in white bread or pasta, prosessed foods [like choclate bars, chips], &FRIED FOODS!!! they are full of saturated fat!
-cut out fast food completely!!! its the worst thing you can eat!
- substitute your white flour foods with whole wheat and grains. its healthier than flour
-dont go on any of those fad diets, like cutting out carbs completely, or only eatting protien because those have health risks that you shouldnt be willing to take.
- in a meal, the intake of meat should only be the size of a deck of cards. no bigger.
-try to stay active during the day. dont take the easy way out, instead of using an elevator do the stairs
-dont believe the fast food places when they say they’ve gone healthy! a salad at mcdonalds has MORE calories than a big mac!! 560 vs 960

It’s important that you find healthy outlets for your stress, so you don’t have to worry about this added problem as you’re trying to lose weight.

Finally, one of the most important weight loss tips for women is to drink water. The more water you drink, the better, but most women should drink about eight glasses each day. This will help you feel fuller for a longer period of time, preventing you from over-eating. Drink water before and after meals, and first thing in the morning.

Tips for fat loss and muscle gain? How to stay committed?

I burn about 1,000 calories a day exercising and I’m 17. I weigh 158 and am 6 feet tall I want to lose fat and put on lean muscle. Tips? How long until I see progress? What should my workouts be like in terms of weight training. I’m doing heavy cardio in addition to weight lifting until February then weights from there until June. What kind of results should I expect to see?

workout 4-5 days a week

u will see results in 6-8 weeks

try doing weight training first.. 40-60 mins.. then cardio exercise after u do weights
the fat burning capacity is much faster this way

when u lose most of ur fat.. cut the cardio in half

i have tried many ways of weight loss including doing some exercise together (walking only) … but i now have backache problem and can not walk for an hour per day as usual … i do not eat much but my age is 51 and i find it’s so difficult to reduce the existing weight (65kilos at 1m53 tall)
