Essential Tips For Quick Weight Loss

Building Muscle

Cutting Calories Wisely

Many people are tempted to drastically cut their daily intake of calories. However, this can result in one’s metabolism going into what is called starvation mode, which means a considerable slowing of his or her metabolism. It is far better for dieters to change the type of food they eat rather than simply reduce the number of calories they consume.

Choosing a low carbohydrate, high protein diet plan is one of the quickest ways to speed weight loss. While all carbohydrates are not bad, foods that contain white sugar and white flower are saboteurs of all weight loss plans. This is because such carbohydrates are quickly broken down and stored as fat. However, when a person shuns these foods in lieu of lean meats, low-starch vegetables and whole grains he or she will enjoy a faster metabolism and fewer hunger pains. When carbohydrates are restricted, the body is forced to break down stored fat, resulting in rapid weight loss. Additionally, if one does not revert back to a high starch diet, the unwanted pounds will not reappear in the future.

Avoiding Alcohol

Those who wish to shed weight quickly should avoid alcohol. Alcoholic drinks are rich in carbohydrates and sugar, making alcohol a calorie dense substance. Empty calories of this type quickly add up and detract from the necessary nutrients that one should consume as part of a healthy diet. In addition, alcohol acts as an inhibitor to the body’s fat burning process, which encourages one’s body to store fat in unsightly places.

Quick weight loss is not out of reach when the aforementioned tips are followed. However, dieters must take their goals seriously and wholeheartedly commit to their chosen plan. Additionally, it is also wise to discuss the pros and cons of any new diet program with one’s primary health care practitioner.

Tips for FAT LOSS ??????

I used to be obese but now I’m not. In fact, if I wore a shirt, you wouldn’t consider me fat.
However, there is some fat in my chest and belly that I would like to get rid of so I could have a flat body.
I go to the gym 4 times a week and do both resistance and weight training. I run 1 KM on the days I work out.

Here are some things i hear about: 6 meals a day/ low carb diet/ low fat diet.
Can you give me some tips or elaborate on the above?

Good question. The 6 meals a day is popular because it keeps your metabolism going while also not leaving long periods between meals so that when meals come along you dont go crazy because you’re so hungry. A low carb diet has worked for some but your body needs carbs to function. Instead of going low carb you can be more conscious of the type of carbs you are eating. Processed white bread vs. whole wheat bread. Also finding a carbohydrate with added or natural fiber is beneficial. This also goes for sugar, sugar is just a simple carbojydrate, so watch that too. You would be surprised by how much sugar can be found diet food or food you never thought would have added sugar. Low fat is where it gets tricky. You should watch your fat intake but a lot people focus on trans fat which by standards in the U.S has a loop hole, if the trans fat content is 0.5g they can round it down to 0g. Make sure you check ingredient labels before buying something claiming that. Avoid it if it has hydrogenated oils. Its all personal preference, everything should be done in moderation and under observation of a doctor to make sure you remain at your healthiest.

Just make sure to save your carbs for after your workout. Carbs eaten after exercise will go towards building muscle, rather then getting stored as excess bodyfat.

The third fat loss tip is to simply increase your cardio. More often then not, if you’ve got a roll of belly fat hanging over your waistline, you are not doing enough cardio. So to help increase your cardio I suggest doing some cardio before and after your weight training workouts. This helps to serve as both a warm up / cool down as well as a great bodyfat burner.

So there you have it, your 911 fat loss rescue to get your missing abs back!
