me and my cousins are going to the concert and we found good seats and we wanna know if it’s a good website to buy the tickets… does anyone know? has anyone ever bought tickets from there? what if they rip me off? will i get my money back if they don’t give me the tickets?

I just had a baby in Nov and I really need a quick way to lose belly fat, I’m not really game on taking diet pills cause of the many side effects. Anything that will produce results.

light meals 6 times a day. very light meals if u can. the lighter the meal the faster the result. eating will keep ur metabolism up but u will lose weight. and obviously cardio excercise and situps would help too

So let’s get past all of the scams and gimmicks and get right down to the hard science and reality behind what techniques and strategies really do help you to lose your stubborn belly fat and keep it off for life!

 

1) The first important principle we’ll discuss is how you structure your workouts. In order to stimulate fat-loss from your stomach, you need to stop wasting so much of your time doing all kinds of abdominal exercises and hundreds of reps of crunches, leg lifts, and torso twists in the hopes of “spot-reducing” your belly and love handles.

 

I’m sure you know by now if you’ve read any reputable fitness publications over the last decade that spot-reduction DOES NOT occur. It’s a myth that just won’t seem to go away. The truth is, you don’t lose belly fat by doing exercises that target the stomach area. Unfortunately, even though most people by now do understand this (or at least they should), they still spend WAY too much of their training time trying to target the stomach with tons of abs exercises.

 

Now don’t get me wrong, a certain amount of abdominals exercises are great and they do help to strengthen your core and help you maintain a healthy back. But the fact is that direct abs exercises should only be a small portion of your workout routines. The majority of your time should be spent focusing on multi-joint exercises that work the largest muscle groups of the body like the legs, chest, and back.

 

Now that is one of the REAL secrets for ridding yourself of that sloppy belly fat for good. Focusing on big multi-joint exercises for the largest portions of your body greatly increases your metabolic rate both during the workout, and for 24-48 hours after the workout. In addition, this also stimulates an increase in fat-burning hormones within your body. You simply don’t get this type of metabolic and hormonal response by wasting most of your time with “abs-pumping” exercises.

 

Want to lose belly fat… Well, get your butt under a barbell and do some squats, do some deadlifts, some lunges, step-ups, some back and chest work. It doesn’t matter per se if it’s barbells, dumbbells, or even bodyweight exercises… the focus needs to be on big multi-joint exercises at a high intensity. That means no 5-minute rest periods between sets while you flap your gums with half of the people at the gym. Losing your belly fat for good requires some focus and intensity in your workouts! Anybody who tells you that you can do it while sitting on your couch watching TV with some “ab-belt” strapped to you, or doing only 2-minutes of crunching with your “ab-rocker-roller” is flat out lying to you!

 

2) The second important principle to rid yourself of that flabby belly revolves around your nutrition. The first thing you need to realize is that “diets” only work against your body in your effort to lose the stomach fat. You see, if you follow any of these fad diets like low-carb, or low-fat, or the grapefruit diet, the soup diet, or anything else that restricts 1 or more of the macro-nutrients (protein, carbs, and fat), most of the time you will actually lose lean muscle and lower your metabolic rate. This only makes you fatter in the long run, when you start to eat normal again!

 

I could go into all kinds of details, but essentially you are messing up processes related to your hormonal balance in your body, the muscle glycogen process, insulin, blood sugar, etc., and this stops your fat loss dead in its tracks!

 

It’s important to stop falling for the fad diet gimmicks, and understand that as humans, we are meant to eat a balanced diet full of a diverse array of foods from healthy natural sources of carbohydrates, proteins, AND fats. This gives your body all of the macro-nutrients as well as all of the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and enzymes that your body needs to run as a well-oiled fat-burning machine!

I personal lost 60 pounds in 2005. Here are some tactics I used to lose the weight.

Eat every three hours. This will keep your blood sugar stable. Try to eat real food at least three times a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. In between your food meals take a good meal replacement shake or bar.

Never eat a carbohydrate by itself. This is basically all sugar. When you eat a carbohydrate by itself there is a sudden increase in sugar in the body. This causes the body to release insulin. However, the body releases too much insulin because it thinks more sugar is coming. The insulin basically grabs the sugar/carbohydrate and stores it to fat for use at some other time. Since your body released too much insulin there is not enough sugar to support the brain function. That is why you feel tired or sluggish. So you’re fatter and dumber.

Watch the gums and mints. Many of these little gums and mints contain calories, sugars, and everything else that is not good for you. Read the labels, if it has sugar in it do not eat it. Time is relative and no two individuals will give the same measurement of time to achieve their goals. It depends on what you are accustomed to in your life.

Do I believe in detox? Well, most of it is plain simple commonsense – proper diet, judicious supplementation, adequate rest, exercise, stress-relieving techniques.

It is also important to understand that detoxification do not work in isolation. It requires careful understanding of the different substances that will help the body recuperate and fight back diseases. Have you ever washed greasy dishes without hot water or dish soap? The dishes don’t get clean, do they? When toxic metals and chemical food additives get inside your body, it takes a strong “cleanser” to scrub your body clean from the inside out.

On the other hand, drug dependence often begins with the misuse of legal drugs like prescription drugs and inhalants. Inhalants are legal substances that becomes illegal when use in a manner that causes a person to get high. Eat foods that have 30% or less, calories from fat. Everyone is on this big no carbohydrate craze. However, did you know that 1 gram of carbohydrate contains 4 calories, 1 gram of protein contains 4 calories, and 1 gram of fat contains 9 calories? There are over twice as many calories in a single gram of fat, than in a protein or carbohydrate.

To find out how many calories are from fat check the label. The label will list the total calories and then list how many calories are from fat. If there are 100 total calories, and there are 70 calories from fat, that’s 70%, too high.

Give yourself one reward day to eat and drink whatever you want. You worked hard all week, reward yourself.

Alcohol is a converted to a sugar. Save it for your free day. If you do drink, it might also be helpful to take hydroxycitric acid capsules about 30 minutes before drinking. Hydroycitric acid is from the herb Garcinia Cambogia. This interferes with the enzyme that converts excess sugars into triglycerides, lessening the likelihood the alcohol will be stored as fat.

I have a six pack even thought I haven’t eaten that healthy before?

I’ve been working out the past 2 years on and off. I’m 13 weigh 128 pounds and im 5 foot 7. I usually drink a lot of water but I also drink pop and sometimes I eat very healthy while other days i eat total crap. I play basketball a lot and I also get atleast 60 minutes of exercises every day no matter what. I thought in order to get abs you need to have a good diet and good exercise? Why am I like this? Can you tell me what I can do in order to become very healthy and perhaps improve my abdominals so they are stronger?

Everyone has abs. Most people just have a layer of fat covering them. If you exercise at least 60 minutes a day, you’re probably burning the calories from the unhealthy stuff you eat. If you do crunches or other ab exercises, you’ll see improvement.

Okkay guys can anyone tell me and truly intense abs workout to get some seriously ripped and noticable abs. My abs right now only show when i flex but i want them to always be there without trying. I also not just want them to have the 6 pack but to actually be strong. Do i have to work them out everyday or every other day.
