I don’t see a lot of Asians with six pack abs and I’m Asian too and I find it hard to get six pack abs. Do Asians have a lower metabolism?
I have a lots of Chinese friends who have six packs and they were slim before they got them so they found it easier. It depends on the layer of fat on your stomach if you have a lot it will take longer.

Who wouldn’t want to have a flat midsection? Everyone would love to have a sexy figure with a stunning flat belly that everyone will stare at when you lift your shirt or blouse.
The problem is what can you do to lose belly fat and get that desired body.
Many people work countless hours and so constant visit to the gym is not a part of the equation. However all is not lost and you will find that there are some simple but effective changes that can be made to lose weight, build lean muscles and look and feel healthier.
Tip #1 Reduce the size of your meals. Your body is programmed to burn certain amount of calories per day based on the amount of food you eat on a regular basis. Now when you reduce the size of your meals, your body will resort to break down stored fat for energy.
Tip #2 Though you should reduce the size of your meals, you should also eat at least 6 times per day. This means that instead of having 3 larger meals it would be better to have 6 smaller meals. You should not starve yourself because if you do you body will only adapt to the changes and start burning less calories per day making it more difficult to lose weight.
Tip #3 Try to work out at least 3 times per week for at least 30 minutes. When most people hear the term ‘work out’ they tend to believe you have to go some special exercise programs. This is so far from the truth. The fact is all you need to do is a little jogging to get the muscles warm and then a little cardiovascular exercises such as push ups and sit ups.
The key to lose belly fat is to be consistent. You may not see results in your first week or two but if you keep a strict diet plan and do your regular exercises, very soon you will find you are losing that belly fat and you will have to also reconstruct your wardrobe.
Losing weight is not as hard as most people make it to be. If you have a proven system to follow and keep at it then very soon you will be amazed of your new body. The problems is finding a good weight loss program that you can follow in the comfort of your home.

You may be thinking why is this skinny guy messing around with fat loss programs? After he had an explosive success with his No Nonsense Muscle Building Program for skinny guys and girls, as a renowned fitness instructor, he now ventured to helping people to lose weight, which is the another side of weight issue.
But before he made this fat loss system available to public, he first used it to his clients, like the very vocal Peter Carvell, to make sure that his system works. Vince DelMonte is so sure about his latest fitness system that he gives this his own personal guarantee that who ever tries it will lose weight and get lean muscles instead of wasted muscles.

Once inside, probably you will get an information overload with all of the resources available to you especially if you are a beginner. But don\’t worry, this is a step-by-step fitness guide so just follow what Vince tells you. He has made this easy to follow with programs for complete beginners to advanced weight loss seekers who have been trying to lose weight but still fail.
Everywhere you turn, someone\’s promising the next secret to losing weight and getting 6 pack abs. Although I have to agree that some of these so called \’secrets\’ have some degree of accuracy, but others are just completely a waste of your time, money and effort.
Knowing which are the best methods of losing weight and not wasting muscle is going to be critical to your having success with this goal.
The biggest area you need to focus on are:
* changing your diet (the way you eat, what, when, the whole 9 yards) and
* regular exercise
I know you would rather let me tell you that there is a magic pill that could offer you long term weight loss and fitness, but the reality is there is none. Like it or not, I\’m telling you the truth.

If losing weight is your goal, there are a few necessary weight loss tips to remember before beginning any diet plan. And for anyone who is truly committed to losing the excess pounds, weight loss is not as difficult as it may seem.
Change your behavior to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Being healthier will mean less medical problems throughout the weight loss process and after the weight has been shed, you will more than likely want to maintain the healthy new lifestyle to keep the weight under control and feel better about yourself. Also, your attitude will become more positive. A healthy lifestyle promotes a mental and physical well-being.
The first thing to remember is that a realistic exercise routine is essential to any weight loss plan. You should keep your goals believable, in losing weight and exercise. Exercise does not need to be hard work or tedious and exhausting, it can be as simple as taking a walk or swimming or even dancing. The goal here should not be about what kind of exercise you do, but about how often you are doing it.
Remember to set realistic goals, walking for 15 minutes after lunch for four days each week may seem like a lot, but realistically, it only amounts to one hour each week, and this is a very reachable goal.
A healthy exercise routine will help in your weight loss saga substantially, and dieting can not be successful, or maintained without it. The physical activity (even at lighter routines) produces the energy to burn the calories as well as increasing your metabolism. If the metabolism slows down then the calories don’t burn and therefore your weight increases, or at least will not decrease.
Also, when you remain physically active, you reduce your risks of heart and lung problems and sleep better, develop more energy and reduce stress. There are many more benefits to a healthier lifestyle and exercise routine.
Before beginning an exercise routine, it is recommended that you consult with your doctor if you have any health issues that should be monitored during the process. Most adults that do not have medical problems can exercise without their doctor’s okay. If you have any heart or bone disorders, or diabetes, it is certainly recommended that you talk with your physician before beginning any program or diets.
Which activities you incorporate into your healthy new lifestyle is dependant on your schedule and how physical activities can fit into your day to day life. Also, it can depend on how willing you are to participate in these activities. Find a few activities that are good for you and those that you enjoy and start slowly. Don’t begin your exercise program with the thought that you must look and act as a professional would. Start your activities slowly and increase after you reach the original goal.
For instance, if you initially wanted to walk for 15 minutes, four days each week, after you accomplish this, increase the distance, time, or number of days. Be more active during the day. Think about what you do each day and how you can work in more steps. Such as, can you park further away from the entrance of the mall or the building you work in? Can you take the stairs more often instead of an elevator? Can you cross the room to change the TV channel instead of using the remote? The extra minutes you can use for even the smallest physical activity is surprising.
The next step to changing your behavior for a healthier lifestyle is to change your eating habits. Making healthy food choices can often be difficult. Planning is vital in maintaining healthy eating habits. Plan times when you will take meals, plan the preparation of those meals, plan what foods to buy and plan what to do in the event of any cravings you might face. Buy food only one time each week. The less shopping you do the less temptations you will face and the more successful your weight loss goals will be met.
Also, do not shop if you are hungry because the result will be wasted money on foods that will be high in calories and unhealthy. Avoid purchasing foods labeled as diet foods. These foods generally cost more as well as they still contain excess grams of carbohydrate, fat and sugar levels that are unhealthy. Avoid the aisles that have unhealthy foods on the shelf. The healthiest foods are fruits and vegetables and meats and cheese, which are typically located around the sides of the store.
When making meals at home, carefully plan the dishes with lower trans-fat and calories. Learn a new way to cook vegetables. Keep meals exciting and delicious. Plan the portions you eat at each meal. Don’t overeat! Eat smaller portions and remember that it takes the brain twenty minutes after the food is in the stomach to realize it’s full. Smaller portions will reduce the risk of overeating and give your brain a chance to catch up with your stomach.
Finally, to be successful in your weight loss regimen, you will need to change your conduct. You will need to make dramatic changes in the way you socialize, think and feel. If you think and feel that you will fail because so many others fail, or if you feel that losing weight is an impossible task, you will fail. Be positive about having a healthier life. Keep a positive frame of mind. Negativity will result in failure. Never think you are dieting and avoid using weight loss supplements, unless they are proven to be safe and not habit forming.
Diets are temporary, so don’t allow the word diet to cause your mind to focus only on the many attempts of others, or your own past attempts and failures. Instead, say you are developing a healthier lifestyle, a permanent and lasting change.
Change your social activities to incorporate healthier eating and drinking habits as well as better physical activities. Rather than going out with your friends or co-workers to a bar, or dance club where alcohol is served, suggest a good restaurant (which serves healthier foods), or ask them to join you in a game of racquetball, tennis, or golf.
Additional weight loss information should be obtained from your physician. If you require any specific weight loss aids or equipment, you should consult your doctor as well as your physical trainer, or local gym trainer.
You can be successful at losing weight with some careful planning and instruction and keeping a positive attitude at all times. I hope that these weight loss tips help you reach your goals.

http://www.SixPackExposed.com – Windsor 8 Minute Abs Workout.
Have you even wondered how people with six pack abs get them? Do you picture them spending hours in the gym every single day? If you do then you might be surprised to know that having a flat washboard stomach can be achieved in as little as 8 minutes a day. Even you have 8 minutes spare a day, don’t you?
Well if you do and you are determined to get those perfect abs, then read this article in full as we’ll share the exercises you need to do each day. So let’s begin:
Abdominal Exercise #1 – Crunches
Simple but deadly effective. That’s the best way to describe the crunch. Just lie down flat on your back and perform a basic sit up movement. You will start with small reps as you build up to be able to do 50 in one set. Just take your time, making sure that the exercise is done correctly and you don’t rush it. Breathe in as you perform the crunch and the out again as you lower down your upper body.
Abdominal Exercise #2 – Crunch With A Twist
There is nothing secret about this twist. It really is just that, a twist. As you perform the normal crunch, twist your upper body to the left as you pull up. Then release and lower yourself down. The next time you pull up, twist your body to the right. Then release. You should really feel your obliques pulling tight as the exercise is being completed.
Abdominal Exercise #3 – Flat Ab Crunches
This is just the same as the normal crunch but this time you have your legs flat on the floor. Pull yourself up as far as you can and then lower back down again. Try to build yourself up to be able to do 50.
So there you have it, a very quick 8 minute abs workout that is easy to do and can be done from anywhere. No need to go to the gym and no excuses for not having enough time to do them. What are you waiting for?

i am 14 years old, approx. 5’4 and 128 pounds
i am so fat so i don’t need you to tell me i need to lose weight, because i already know that.
What are some quick weight loss tricks.
By the way i play twice a week until like mid-march, then i will be playing 3 times a week for approx. 4 hours a week ( two 90 minute practices, plus a 1 hour game) i am also trying out for softball which, with God on my side, if make the team i will practice 5 days a week for about 2 hours Mon-Fri.
I want to do it in the healthiest way possible, so if you say "Don’t Eat" i will be really mad and you will CERTAINLY not get best answer.
Thanks in advance for you help!
i thought it might help of i add my typical meals for the day:
Breakfast: Usually Yoplait Light Yogurt or some sort of fruit
Lunch: sandwhich, one slice of pizza, or a piece of breaded chicken (take notice: these are meals served @ my school daily, the other lunch option varies)
Dinner: Usually Chicken, Rice or Mashed Potatoes, with some sort of a veggie. And occasionally some sort of fish
usually little or no snacks other than an apple @ luch and occasionally a snack size bag of Sunchips.
To lose weight (fat), include more fibrous slow digesting carbs, as opp. to the fast digesting ones.
No white breads, fast foods, sodas (not even diet) no ketchups, sugar, only skim milk, not 2%, skim and whole grain non sweet (sugary) cereal, whole wheat bread, maybe buy some soy or whey protein.
Include lean meats like ham, and other sources of protein. Avoid red meats. Take a multivitamin, calcium and vitamin d every 2 days, one or two V8s a day (or every other day).
Don’t starve, eat small healthy meals. A lot of small meals opposed to a few bigger ones– make sure is has at least 8-10 or more g of protein, not too much protein because the body can only digest a certain amount at a time; and avoid too many fruits, carbs and sugars. Fibrous veggies, greens (no starches or potatoes) are good, and no BBQ sauce (unless used sparingly) and not too much (if any) salad dressing.
Before bed (2 hrs), eat something with protein, don’t
eat many carbs before bed. Eat some of that good cereal in the morning, you need quality carbs, just not too much, and the slow digesting ones.
Do slow crunches until you can not do anymore, jog stairs (be safe though), warm up first and do sprints, short bursts of intense activity is very effective compared to long weak activity, just don’t over do it. Also include some slow but long endurance jogging. Be active!
Jog stairs ;and also do some lunges until it burns, do this every day or 2 days, keep going and don’t give up, same with eating, you need some fat, so one or two fish oils daily.
Eat fish (not fried, be careful, very careful for bones) Peanut butter on whole wheat (no jelly), which has protein, and don’t worry about the fat in that. Avocados, has fat, good fat; eat it when your hunger cravings get you.
When you do crunches, also twist on some to work your sides, keep tension on your abs.
